GENERAL MANAGER Arnold Pinto
Arnold has over 20 years of experience within the precision engineering industry. Arnold has been involved with contracts including MoD and Rolls Royce. Arnold is responsible for providing high quality leadership and managing an effective and efficient production schedule.

Production Manager Ray Sykes
Ray Sykes started at Trent Aero in 1983 as a fully skilled fabrication and welding technician. Shortly afterwards he was promoted to workshop foreman and then in 1992 became the chief quality manager and soley in charge of workshop production.

Senior Engineer Pete Wayman
As a time served engineer with 43 years’ experience in CNC milling. Pete took on the task of Senior Engineer responsible for all technical aspect of the machine shop, programming and modelling with the CAD Cam system and the programming and planning of the machine shop.

company history

2008 - The company relocated to a new 11,700 sq ft facility at the Blenheim Industrial Estate in Bulwell, Nottingham where it continues to operate from.

2006 - MEL Aviation bought the Company as Mr Phil Tillyard retired. After which the company moved to a new facility in Bulwell, Nottingham in the East Midlands and later amalgamated with MEL Nottingham (formerly David Bramley Engineering) which gave Trent Aero more cope on machining.

2004 - Trent Aero completed a cargo conversion from passenger plane for Skyways in Sweden for their post office for carrying mail.

1985 - Trent Aero gained Rolls Royce approval and began restoring Spitfires to flying conditions and then moved to East Midlands Airport.

1979 - Trent Aero was formed by Phil Tillyard at Stonebroom, Alfreton, Derbyshire where they manufactured aircraft parts for Jetstream Aircraft.
